15 of us met in the Pioneer Room of the Manson’s Hall, with Fawn facilitating.
After our time of sharing, Huguette Ruel, a retired palliative care nurse, talked about “The Moment of Death”. A summary of her presentation is on the following link, as I wrote an article after she shared on Quadra Island several months earlier.
During the business portion of the meeting, Dancing Wolf talked about the Community Grief Tending Workshop scheduled for Dec 2-4 at Hollyhock, which is now at the maximum number of participants of 30. He encouraged everyone to come to the Friday evening song circle. Margaret spoke of the Dec 11 Community-Led Death Care Overview Workshop, also taking place at Hollyhock. Keri talked about the workshop series she is offering in the New Year. She will tell us more about this at the next meeting, Jan 16th, 2023.
